What is Flowers of Sulphur?
It is a bright yellow powder, with the consisteny of talcum powder, obtained from natural deposits of Sulphur that has antifungal and antiseptic properties.
Uses for Horses
It is particurlarly useful when mixed with Pig Oil and applied to horses feathers The Pig Oil acts as a barrier to stop the mud from clinging to the feathers and thus prevents parasites in the mud from attacking the horses legs.
Other Uses
For domestic and farm animals:- excellent for minor cuts
It can also be made into a paste when combined with a barrier cream such as Udder Cream, Sudocrem or Liquid Paraffin and applied topically.
